Sitting on the bed with Jack, Lily felt a mix of emotions. Jack broke the silence, acknowledging her efforts, "You made everyone happy today."

Her mind, however, lingered on Danielle. When Jack smiled at the mention of Danielle's name, curiosity got the better of Lily. "Who is Danielle?" she asked.

Jack reassured her, "Just a friend from high school."

Lily, with a hint of skepticism, replied, "Just a friend, right?"

Jack nodded, "Yes, just a friend from high school."

"Okay, just a friend," Lily said, her tone revealing a trace of uncertainty.

Jack, sensing her doubt, teased, "Don't tell me you're jealous, Lily."

With a defensive tone, Lily responded, "Me, jealous? I am not jealous. I am just asking who Danielle is to you."
