THE AWKWARD SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT 2
Eventually, she heard Jack's breathing slow down, and she realized that he had fallen asleep. She closed her eyes and tried to do the same, but her mind was racing with thoughts. She couldn't believe that she was sharing a bed with Jack. It was all too weird.
As the night wore on, Lily drifted in and out of sleep, constantly aware of Jack's presence beside her. She couldn't wait for the morning to come, so she could demand another room.
But as she lay there, her thoughts began to wander. What if she and Jack were dating for real? What if he was lying beside her every night, and they were sharing a bed like any normal couple?
The thought made her feel oddly warm inside, and she couldn't help but smile to herself. Maybe this pretend relationship wasn't as silly as she had thought.
"No no no, don't tell me that you are thinking of an actual relationship with Jack and have a group of exes coming after you." She shook her head and slightly slapped her face.
But she drifted off to sleep with that thought in mind, feeling oddly comforted by the presence of Jack beside her.
The next morning, Lily woke up to find that Jack had already left the bed. She got up and stretched, feeling a bit stiff after her awkward sleeping arrangement. But as she looked around the room, she realized that Jack had left her a note.
"I hope you had a great sleep, I don't know if you would like to come to the hospital with my mom and me, just know I am not forcing you to come."
Lily scoffed, "he can't put simple words down or tell me in person, does he have to make it so sarcastic."
She shook her head, rose from the bed, and headed to the bathroom to clean up.
After cleaning herself, she pulled out a white chiffon top with a pink camisole and pink pants, she paired it up with a white canvas.
She came downstairs to see Jack pacing back and front, his shoulders were slightly hunched, "good morning Jack."
Jack looked up and saw her, he smiled weakly, "You came." He wasn't expecting her to come with him.
Lily flashed him her brightest smile, "Of course, I will come, I am not a monster."
Jack couldn't stop staring at Lily as she was smiling, her smile was tugging at his heart, drawing feelings he couldn't explain. Her face was looking radiant and with the smile on her face, he felt lighter.
AUTHOR POV: hello beautiful readers, I decided to change the cover of the book. I wasn't cool with the former cover so I decided to change it to this one, I know Lily was not happy that she wasn't on the cover so I decided to add her so she wouldn't come and fight with me. Have a beautiful day and always be happy, love you all so much.
