PLAYERS IN THE BUILDING
Ben ignored his friends and turned his head to his right, his eyes lightened up in a predatory gleam, he saw some girls staring in their direction and he wanted to meet them, "I think those chicks are looking our way," he said.
A girl whistled at him, he didn't need words to know they wanted his attention and he was glad. No, he was overjoyed, he immediately went over to meet her.
George narrowed his eyes at Ben's retreating form, "someone is lucky tonight," he said thoughtlessly, the words spurting out from his lips.
Alan slapped on George's back gently, "Someone is jealous tonight."
Jack chuckled lightly, somehow his friends never ceased to amaze him, their love for women was overwhelming, "I hate to leave you guys but someone is waiting for me," Jack said finishing his drink.
Alan furrowed his eyebrows in thought, knowing fully well who Jack was going to meet, "Dianne? What will she tell her husband if he asks her where she is going that night?" Alan asked.
Jack shrugged his shoulders, he didn't care whether Dianne was married or not, as long as she was available to please him, "Her husband is not in town, he took his son to go and visit his sick mother in the hospital," Jack said nonchalantly.
George laughed, his laugh full of mischief, "While you screw his wife behind his back," he chipped in.
Jack hissed, "It is not like I force her to do anything, she was the one who told me to keep her company," not seeing anything wrong in the arrangement he had with Dianne.
Alan pursed his mouth, "Women! That is why I don't trust them."
"That is your problem beside she is not complaining, is she? She loves the affair. You are not perfect either," George rolled his eyes, He didn't see the reason why Alan was becoming cynical over an innocent meeting.
Alan threaded his hand through his hair, feeling the silky curls running through his long fingers, "I never said I was, I am just feeling for the poor man who thinks his wife is a saint."
On second thoughts, Jack narrowed his eyes at a blonde girl, she was giving him the green light.
Suddenly, His phone rang. Jack took up the phone from the table it was and peered at it, it was Dianne calling.
"Don't pick the call, you should ignore her, I personally..." George, pointing to himself, "I feel you've had the same thing for long; go on," he tilted his head pointing to the other girl across the room, "meet another girl!"
Alan's face was serious as he listened to George, he was nodding his head as if George was preaching the good news of the gospel to him.
Jack pursed his lips, thinking. George's idea wasn't that bad he finds it satisfying and intriguing.
"I think I should give it a try," Jack muttered gleefully.
"Go, bro! I second that," Alan admitted, sipping his brandy.
Jack switched off his phone and went to meet the other girl who licked her lips at him seductively.
"Now that it is only both of us, I suggest we should give it a go," Alan winked at George playfully.
"I believe so," he pounced on Alan. Alan pulled back in shock. He was only joking, he never expected George to take him on his offer.
"I thought you said we should give it a go?" George smirked.
"Get off me, you fucking pest,' Feeling irritated, Alan glared at George.
George refused to budge, Instead, he tightened his grip on Alan's body.
"Calm down bro! Move your ass from me, you dimwit," Alan pushed him away and turned his back to go to the dancefloor.
George smirked again and squeezed Alan in a back-crushing hug.
Alan tried to free himself but George held him in a bone-crushing grip.
Laughing, "I am sorry bro," Alan apologized.
George finally released Alan from his grip.
After releasing Alan, Alan turned and faced George, blowing a raspberry at him, "I didn't mean that apology, you are a dimwit and also a fucking pest."
After speaking, he immediately ran for dear life as George chased after him.
