บท 122: demons arrival
After Ryueki put the sphere containing the Para-jelly somewhere in the forest he went back to camp to take a nap.
Ryueki: this is great, I'll get more attention and be a protagonist!
He whispered to himself.
And so hours came by and the entire class went doing their own activities while waiting for the test of courage to start.
30 minutes before starting the test of courage Shino was still watching over Kaneki in his tent.
Shino: hey wake up please.
Obviously he didn't respond.
Shino: of course, lets see your temperature-
Yanma: Ya!
Shino: hmm? What is it you 4?
Heike: Ike!
Shino: what?! She went in here last night?!
Ku-kun: Wagku
Mo-chan: Momo!
Shino felt a bit sad.
Shino: I see... Good for Her. Hey can I ask for a favor for you 4?
There wasn't anyone in camp because they were already at the site for the test of courage.
Ku-kun: wata?
Shino: can you 4 watch over him?
The 4 insects looked Shocked.
Yanma: yam?
Shino: i rather not talk about it but I'll just say i might cause more trouble.
Ku-kun: ku-
Shino: well I'm off now.
Yanma: YANMA!!!
Shino: sorry but I have no cho-
Before she could go out of the tent her hand got grabbed by Kaneki.
Shino: Kaneki?!
But as she looked at him he was still in the same condition.
Shino: what's going on?... Please let go.
She was able to remove his hand and get out of the tent but she heard something.
Kaneki: D... Don't... Gooo...
Shino was in the brink of crying. She knows Kaneki is still unconscious but she wanted to respond.
Shino: sorry... I'm sorry for hurting you back then!... No what I mean is I'm sorry for abandoning you!
Her words were full of regret,
Shino: I should've chose you!...
Sadness,
Shino: i wish we could've stayed what we've used to be! I'm sorry! I gotta go! I'm sorry for being a fake!
And self hatred.
After saying those apologies she ran away crying.
Shino: I wish i could've chose him instead!
The site where the test of courage was still quite far so she began talking to herself.
Shino: I don't know what to do now. Tomorrow we'll be going back home but... We'll go back to being strangers... This is the worst.
The thought of it made her more sad.
Shino: I wish... I could destroy the love I have for Itadori-kun.
That was her wish.
Shino: but I can't do it... I hate it.

Shino: i should go now.
She began running to the test of courage site.
30 minutes later*
Yuuka: took you long enough Shino!
Shino finally got to the test of courage site.
Shino: sorry, i didn't bring a flashlight so i couldn't see where I was going.
Natsuki: well at least you got here safely.
Miku: yeah!
Ryueki: alright! Should we start!
Some of the girls: Yeah!!!
Yuuka: alright alright everyone, we can start now but be sure to stay safe!
Itsuki: of course!
Chikao: and also don't touch any rocks you see they might be dragon eggs.
Keiko: yeah, yeah.
Yuuka: alright lets start!
Everyone: Yeah!!!
They started the test of courage.
Each pair went into the forest each farther away from each pair so each pair could be alone.
And for Shino who was with Yuuka and Chikao.
Chikao: seriously, I can't believe you left him alone.
Yuuka: hey Chi-chan no need for that.
Chikao: sorry, its just this is probably your only chance to reconcile with him but.
Shino: yeah, I know.
Yuuka: hey cheer up.
Shino: well I guess better luck next time. Well if there is one at least.
Chikao: well just don't give up.

Natsuki: i wonder what their talking about?
Miku: i-i don't know but please don't let go!
Natsuki: there there, who would've thought you would be afraid of the forest?
Miku: of course i would be afraid! The moon light is not showing so its hard to see without flashlights!

Chikao: i don't know but it felt like an earthquake.
Yuuka: well be careful then up ahead will be a cliff good thing everyone is going below.
Shino: that doesn't sound good.
While they were walking they didn't noticed it

Natsuki and Miku saw their classmates and Itsuki and Keiko and some others at a giant Boulder blocking the road.
Natsuki: what happened here?!
???: we don't know this boulder just fell down we're lucky we didn't get crushed.
Miku: was it an earthquake?
Keiko: it wasn't! It just came down!
???: hey what happened here?!
Miku: Shino-Oneechan!
Shino: yo...
Chikao: what happened here?!
???: we don't know!
Itsuki: yeah! This boulder just came down out of nowhere!
Yuuka : For real?! Is anyone hurt?!

Natsuki's thoughts*
(Oh the trash has arrived)
Keita: woah! Why is there a boulder blocking the road?
Ryueki: well that's not important lets just go pass it.

Ryueki: have you guys forgotten? I'm a ability user and one of them is strength enhancing.
???: Ryueki-kun is reliable as ever!

Shino's thoughts*
(Have you forgotten Kaneki was the one who cooked good food?!)
Shino and Natsuki were clearly pissed.

Itsuki: that sound! No it can't be! Everyone! Run back to camp now!

As the dust clears they saw it.
???: no way! A Para-jelly?!
???: why is it here in Japan?!
Ryueki: don't worry! I got this!
Ryueki charged at the Para-jelly thinking he could beat it easily.
Ryueki: take this! Ice-Fireball!

Itsuki: you fool! Don't use your abilities!

Ryueki: see? easily dealt with.

Hearing another screech they looked at the boulder.
Ryueki: what?! Another one?!
Shino: no... This can't b happening.
The second War Para-jelly was looking at them. Then it looked at Shino.
Keiko: Shino run!!! Its planning to use you as its host!
Shino: wha-

She couldn't hear it in time. The War Para-jelly latched on to her using its tentacles.
Shino: No! Let go!
Yuuka: Shino!
Yuuka seeing what happened tried to help her. She tried to pull one of the Para-jellys tentacles but.

Miku: Yuuka-Oneechan!
Shino suddenly punched Yuuka.
Chikao: Shino what are you?!-
Shino: Grrrr.
Miku: No... Shino-Oneechan!
Natsuki: Tanaka-san!
Shino: RAAAAAAHHHH!
???: Ryueki-kun do something!
Ryueki's thoughts*
(Why did it go like this?! I'm the protagonist! Why isn't it going my way!)
Shino who was being controlled by the War Para-jelly began to lunge at her classmates attacking them.
???: no! Shino-san its me!
Shino: RAAAAAAHHHH!
She tried to punch her classmate but.
Miku: don't Shino-Oneechan!
She hit Miku.
Miku: please! Stop give back Shino-Oneechan!
Yuuka: don't you dare use my Friend!
Yuuka tried again.

But it didn't work.
Yuuka: someone.... someone please save her!
???: Ryueki-kun are you alright?!
Natsuki: no he got hit badly he can't move.
Ryueki's thoughts*
(Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! Where did it go wrong!?)
Everyone was panicking with 2 War Para-jellys they were trapped and for Shino...
Shino's thoughts*

Yuuka: please stop!!

Keiko: it hurts!
Itsuki: Keiko-chan!!!

The war Para-jelly was controlling her body but she's trying to fight it so to make sure she doesn't fight for control it used a dirty trick.
(What the?!)
Kaneki: i hate you.
(No please! I didn't want to hurt you!)
It showed her her biggest fear.
Kaneki: I wish i never met you, i hate you!

She began to cry.
Miku: please stop!

They were Trying to help her.

บท 123: Friend
After getting ambushed by 2 War Para-jellys class 1-C was trapped and beaten up with Shino being controlled by one of them.
Ryueki's plan failed miserably on him and everyone thought they were going to die. That's until.
Kaneki: ROOOOAAAAA!
He had came.
Miku: Higanbana-kun!
Kaneki: Raaa~
Kaneki glared at the jellys.
War Para-jelly 1: SCREEEECHH!
War Para-jelly 2: SCREEEECHH!
Kaneki: RAAAAAHHHHH!
Kaneki didn't move same with the jellys
Ryueki: what the hell is happening?!
Itsuki: i think he's going to fight them!
Everyone: fight?!
Natsuki: this isn't good!
Everyone was worried because if they fight Kaneki might hurt Shino real badly.
Natsuki: Higanbana-kun! Shino is being controlled! She's in pain!
Those words triggered Kaneki.
Kaneki: RAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
Para-jellys: ROOOOAAR!!
Shino: RAAA!
Para-Shino charged at Kaneki.
Thwip!
But she was stopped.
Miku: wait aren't those?!
Natsuki: tentacles?!
Kaneki wrapped her preventing her from moving with his own boney tentacles.
Kaneki: RAAAAAA!
He then charged a the other one.
War Para-jelly 1: SCREEEEEEECH!
it lunged towards Kaneki
Yuuka & Miku & Natsuki: Higanbana-kun!
The other one wanted to use Kaneki as its host but.
Crack!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Kaneki used a Gun but not any gun.
???: hey?! What happened to your arm!
His arm became a gun. Made out of his blood vessels, bones and iron.
After instantly killing the first War Para-jelly it instantly vaporized leaving the infected Shino left.
Shino: RAAAAAAA!
She was still being controlled by the War Para-jelly. So Kaneki went closer since she was still binded by his tentacles.
Kaneki: Groan... Grrr...
He was about to attack.
Miku: Higanbana-kun wait!
Kaneki: grr?
Miku stopped him from attacking.
Miku: Shino-Oneechan is being controlled please save her!
Kaneki:...
He didn't respond but.
He opened his mouth.
???: wait what is he doing?!
He took in some air.
Natsuki: wait isn't that?!
And it became fire.
Yuuka: Higanbana-kun WAIT!
Natsuki: DON'T!
BLAST!
Kaneki blasted Shino with a Green fire.
Everyone: Tanaka-san!
Miku & Yuuka: SHINO/SHINO-ONEECHAN!!
after that she was burning but the Para-jelly was still alive.
War Para-jelly: SCREEEEEEECH!
Stab!
Kaneki stabbed it once it let go of Shino.
With that the 2 Jellys were dead.
But everyone besides Ryueki was crying.
???: Hey! Higanbana! You killed Tanaka-san!
???: YEAH! YOU COULD'VE SAVE HER!
he wasn't responding but he walked to the still burning Shino.
???: hey what are you doing?!
Kaneki said 2 words.
Kaneki: Fire... Die
The green flames died revealing Shino who wasn't burned.
Miku: Shino-Oneechan-
As Miku tried to get to Shino Kaneki stopped her.
Miku: what's wrong?!
Kaneki the started to talk.
Kaneki: she... Has... Been... Poisoned.
Everyone: what?!
Miku: what do you mean poisoned!?
Itsuki: Para-jellys are known to have poisonous touch but War Para-jellys have way more lethal poisons.
???: no way!
Chikao: does that mean?
Natsuki: Tanaka is going to die?
Ryueki: lets leave! Go to a hospital!
Kaneki: won't... Help...
???: what?!
Kaneki: poison... No antidote.
Miku: no!... Shino-Oneechan! Get up please!
Ryueki: there's no use... Leave her!
???: what?!
Ryueki: there might be more of those things we can use her as ba-

Kaneki: no leave... One behind.
Ryueki: Higanbana! Do you want us to die or-
Kaneki: me... Kill.. all monsters.
Itsuki: but what about Tanaka-san?!
Keiko: yeah! What about Shino?!
Kaneki looked at Shino again before walking to her body.
Kaneki unsheathed Sword-san.
Sword-san: [poor Shino-chan, Kaneki-chan you know what to do]
Ryueki: hey what are you doing?!
Stab!"
Kaneki stabbed his own abdomen using Sword-san.
???: no way! Did he do Seppuku?!
Kaneki: bleurgh! Haa... Haa...
Ryueki: hey! Kill yourself later! We need to run-
Kaneki: Demon... Knight... Arts, Higanbana Cure.
Saying those words he removed Sword-san from his abdomen and he pointed Sword-san at Shino then. the blood that was on Sword-san began to float and some blood from his abdomen began collect into one big blood ball.
Miku: what the?!
Natsuki: its glowing! And floating?!
It began to float towards Shino.
And when it was on top of her Kaneki activated the ability completely.
Kaneki: Higanbana Healing Poison!
The ball of blood began to go inside Shino's body through the scratches and wounds.
Miku: Higanbana-kun what are you doing?!
Kaneki: healing... Friend...
Everyone: friend?!
Ryueki: what do you man healing?! Nothing is happening!
Natsuki: no look!
Everyone looked at the ball of blood again.
Yuuka: what! Its changing color!
Itsuki: of course!
Chikao: he's using his blood to remove the poison and not only that!
Natsuki: he's using his blood to fix her injuries.
Ryueki: but wouldn't that give her Demonitis?!
Chikao: no, if it did the Demonitis will only become the common fever.
1 minute of after the ability was used all the poison within Shino hasbeen removed and all he injuries were fixed.
Kaneki: done... De... Acti... vate
Pop!
After releasing his ability the ball of blood got destroyed.
And Shino woke up.
Shino: Oww~ what happened?!
Everyone: TANAKA-SAN!
Miku: Shino-Oneechan! You're alright!
Yuuka: thank goodness!
Shino: what happened? All i remember is being in the War Para-jellys control.
Itsuki: you should Thanks Kaneki!
Keiko: Yeah! He killed the 2 Jellys and he saved your life!
Shino's thoughts*
(He saved me?! But why?)
"We're friends... Right?"
(What?)
"I saved her but because of me she was hurt!, if I didn't fall sick this wouldn't have happened! I wished I could've talked more to Shita-chan!"
(Are these Kaneki's thoughts?)
Shino: Where is Higanbana-kun?
Natsuki: he's right there.
Shino: Higanbana-kun!
Kaneki didn't respond.

???: he was just awake earlier.
Ryueki: whatever! Get him already and lets leave! Before any of those-

"What were those monsters?!, they sounded and smelled so familiar!... Wait those were War Para-jellys! No... Why are they here?! I thought I've destroyed all remaining War Para-jelly labs!"

"I can't let anyone get hurt anymore.... I WILL KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!"
(Kaneki... What are you going to do?!)
Itsuki: no way! Up there!
When they looked up they saw a frightening sight.
Everyone: AHHHH!
at the top of the cliff was an army of War Para-jellys.
Shino: this can't be!
Natsuki: are we going to die?
SCREEEEEEECH!
The army of War Para-jelly jumped from the top of the cliff and heading towards them.
???: Nooo!
Shino: someone please SAVE US!
They all closed their eyes out of fear
Swoosh*
Everyone: what?
Natsuki: why are we on the cliff now?
CRASH!*
Itsuki: I don't know how, but this is our chance to escape!
Yuuka: everyone evacuate!
Everyone: yeah!
They all began running besides one.
Shino: wait! Where's Higanbana-kun?!
They all looked behind seeing him on the edge of the cliff.
Ryueki: hey! Do you want to die or what?! We have to run!
Kaneki: I'm going to kill those nightmare.
Everyone: what!
Shino already knew what he meant so she tried to stop him.
Natsuki: Higanbana-kun don't!
And Natsuki did the same.
Crack!
Since he was on the edge the ground cracked.
Before falling he said something.
Kaneki: i promise to save all of you...
Natsuki & Shino: what?!
And as he said that he fell to the bottom of the cliff with the hundreds of War Para-jellys.
Kaneki: I have a score to settle with you nightmares!
Everyone: Higanbana!!!/Kaneki!!!
