To be honest, she was scared of the head of the Nightshade Family, as she never knew what he would try to do to her.

However, Melinda didn't believe her one bit.

She knew that Sylas was a cruel individual and that he wasn't scared of hurting anyone which might ruin his reputation, but this was simply too sudden.
