In the dark prison, Cassey was holding her knees tightly while sitting in the position of the fetus. Her eyes blazed with anger and hatred.

Even the foul stench of blood and dirty floor did not affect her numb soul. All she could feel was hatred. Hatred for the woman who had snatched everything from her.

Who would know if Mary even saved Cassian or not? She could use this chance to usurp all the power for herself. 

Her chest tightened at the thought and she felt a bitter taste in her mouth when she heard steps.

"How are you feeling Cassandra?" 

She did not need to raise her head to see who it was! All the anger burst out at that moment.

"You wench! You took it from me." but her eyes widened and she paused. 

She was beyond shock to see Cassian standing in front of her instead of Mary. 

Mary smirked looking at the ashen face of Cassandra.
