บท 163: Divorce

Cassandra read the letter again with a grinning face. Her eyes were twinkling with joy and her feet could not feel the ground.

As if she was standing on the clouds and the whole world was beneath her. She could not help but dance.

"If only you would have listened to me. Then I need not go to such lengths," she muttered as she shook her head feeling bad for her brother.

He was stubborn enough to follow that girl and end up in prison. Ha! She couldn't care anymore. She was here and she was going to enjoy all the power she would get now.

"June, I want you to pack my bags. We are going to visit my brother's estate. It had been days since I last saw him." she smirked when the maid bowed her head and left.

Who could find fault with a sister who went to meet her brother but found that he was missing? She stayed there to help the staff in running the duchy while looking for her brother only to learn that he was arrested by the royal palace.
