บท 90: Not Ready

The second day of the Tianfeng Grand Tournament dawned bright and early, with an air of anticipation hanging over the grand arena. Jiang Ting, Yan Ping, Yan Yao, Mei Lin, and their friends Zhang Wei, Liu Feng, Mei Xiang, and Li Qiang were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Little did they know, their toughest opponents were waiting for them.

As time passed, all the weaker opponents had been beaten. The objective of this tournament had always been to display the strength of the combatants so that the clans of the city may recruit strong experts to bolster their strength. As a result, combatants had to submit their cultivation levels at the time of registration, and were thus divided into competition brackets to prevent the strong ones from getting knocked out at the early stages. As a result, apart from a few exceptional martial artists at the second or third level, only the level four r=experts were still around.
