บท 173: Night before battle

'What is he thinking?' thought Duke Galvano as he rode behind the king , the young king 's curly blonde hair fluttering into the wind and revealing a sense of carefreeness and excitement. The king had all the beauty coming from both his ancestry and the Norman family of Hauteville; he had blonde hair and blue eyes, along with lightly not-so-white skin. From his German heritage, he took instead the height of a good 1,75 meters, which in itself was not such a big number if not for the fact the king was still growing at 16 years of age. Despite his young age, the king possessed an air of confidence and authority that commanded respect from those around him. His regal presence was further enhanced by his elegant attire, adorned with intricate gold embroidery  that reflected his noble lineage. As he stood there, gazing out into the vast kingdom before him, it was clear that this young king held great potential for a prosperous reign.
