Dorothy was also feeling somewhat weary. Whom had she offended? She had merely spoken her true feelings; who could have known the rabbit would react so violently.

Yet, realizing that if she didn't intervene, this rabbit might truly perish, the homebody witch sighed in resignation.

She rose from her seat and stepped out of the barrier that concealed her identity, revealing her embarrassingly plaited, country-girl appearance.

"How can you, a rabbit, so casually slander my purity? When have I ever toyed with your heart? You need to make your accusations clear," she demanded, somewhat angrily.

After all, who within the entire academy didn't know that Dorothy was an honest person? Playing with people's hearts was something completely unrelated to her; she could carry any other burden, but not this one.

The homebody witch signaled to her junior sister, instructing her to give the rabbit back its freedom to speak.
