/A few minutes after the meeting…/
/Creak…/
"... I'll think about that later..." Dale mumbled out loud with a dark expression
Thinking about everything that happened not long ago, Dale opened the door towards the backroom of Barme's smith.
"Do you need help with that?" He asked as he held the door open, allowing someone to move through it
It was the owner of the shop, holding a large and heavy box.
"I'm okay, I may be old, but I'm not weak… Huff... My back..."
"In any case... Hopefully this time, we won't have any more interruptions." Barme said as he dropped the box on the ground
/Clap clap.../
Cleaning his hands of the dust, he stretched his back while Dale took a sneak peek inside the box
There wasn't anything interesting inside of it, just a bunch of metallic junk, they'll likely be smelted and recycled into something more useful.
So we've arrived at another chapter end.
So before you go to the next chapter, if there is any, or go away to do your own things, allow me to explain how Stat works, and how it ties back to monster Levels, Player Levels, and Harcore players.
Normal and Hardcore players can go from Level 1 to 100 right?
But a Normal player would have 100 stat points, while a Hardcore payer would have around 300.
I'm talking about base stats, not accounting for extra things they do on the way, such as special opportunities, consumable items, training, and so on.
However, as I've been trying to do so far, Hardcore players are akin to NPCs as their growth rate is similar.
A Level 100 Npc would have similar stats to a Level 100 Hardcore player if they followed similar training methods.
However, Monster Danger Levels follow Normal player Levels...
If that is the case, a Level 100 Monster would have similar stats to... A Level 50 Hardcore player? Something is wrong, right?
Not quite.
While Level 100 seems to be a somewhat meaningful number for players, it isn't for monsters.
And remember, that is 'Danger Level', it does not represent their level.
It is a range, an estimation of how strong someone, a Standard Player, should be before fighting it.
So technically, a Level 100 Dale would be able to fight a Level 300 monster...
We'll see about that, so far, I think our strongest monster was a Level 70-80 Elite Variant monster, that was cool, but not quite there yet for Dale's power Level, much less for the others.
But that was before the timeskip, Dale became stronger once again even if his Staus didn't increase by much, he went from Level 25+ to Level 39...
Stat-wise, that isn't much.
But with his change in gear into something that will likely stay with him for a long time, yes, the change is rather significant.
Anyway, that is what I wanted to say, I'm ready for the suggestion if you have any, I'll go have lunch with my family and when I'm back I'll check it all out.
Peace!
PS: Like I said before, I have started to leave my comments only in this place to reduce the size of the chapter as much as possible.
I've been also paying more attention to chapter details, trying not to push things beyond 3 fast passes as much as I can.
I'll try to leave it all at 2, but if I can, I'll leave it at 1.
This chapter was originally 1.7K words long, it's now 2.2K, so it would've been challenging to keep it within 1 fast pass.
Hopefully, it was worth your time!
