บท 166: Sinister Plans

Deep beneath the surface of the continent, a secret research facility hummed with activity. Researchers in pristine white coats bustled about, each immersed in their tasks. Numerous glass tubes filled with a sickly green liquid dotted the space, each holding the partially disintegrated remains of monstrous creatures. 

At the center of the facility stood an immense glass container, its contents a pulsating mass of raw, red flesh suspended in the same eerie green fluid. All the other glass tubes seemed to be connected to this central mass, like grotesque umbilical cords feeding into it.

Before this unsettling display stood a lone figure, a man clad in an ominous red mask that concealed his features. His hand rested upon the glass, as if caressing the fleshy mass within. He stared at the pulsating form with an intensity typically reserved for a parent gazing upon their child.
