Eren guided Diana through the winding streets of the capital, navigating the bustling marketplace until they arrived at the dwelling of Selena's uncle, where they were to be accommodated for a while.

Approaching the door, Eren couldn't shake the unease that had settled in his chest. He recognized the importance of introducing Diana to his friends, but he was acutely aware of the intricate complexities and potential perils this situation presented. Uncertainty gripped him. 

He had no knowledge of Marcus's character or his stance on non-human races. There was a possibility that Marcus might harbor prejudice against such races, which raised concerns about his reaction upon meeting Diana, who was a dark elf.

Eren took a deep breath and rapped his knuckles against the door. A few moments passed before it creaked open, revealing a middle-aged man with salt-and-pepper hair – none other than Selena's uncle, Marcus Everheart.
