Davien's P. O. V

"Davien don't be foolish, leaving now would only raise more suspicion. My father's influence only goes so far!" Louis called out to me, as I marched straight for the door, already changed into the clothes he had brought me.

I had resolved to leave this confinement to Silvia's estate and have that woman put in her place. However, Louis vehemently refused, and in turn believed he could stop me.

How foolishly optimistic.

I shook off his grip on my shoulder and pulled hard on the handle, nearly ripping the door apart. My movement however became restricted at the arrival of Oliver, whose scent I had picked out from a while ago.

"Move."

He looked at me then deflected his gaze to a defeated Louis behind me, a sigh escaped his lips as he stepped aside in defeat. My feet marched past him, only to hear him say through the mind link, 'You have a guest downstairs, and depending on what she has to say, she might be important.'
