"Why are you even here? You should already know by now that I have no intention of going back," Prince Ninth rolled his eyes. He turned towards the city and decided to ignore his older brother.

"Just as I said—"

"You always do what he tells you to do," Prince Ninth snorted. "What a pity; he is not going to choose you to become the next King."

"You—"

"This place is no place for demons," a cold voice interrupted their conversation. Prince Ninth immediately opened his eyes and found a familiar knight nearby.

"Are you not, Soren? One of Evelynn Rosetta's men?" Prince Ace asked before Prince Ninth had the chance to open his mouth.

"My name does not matter. The Emperor already passed an edict. No one shall be allowed inside the borders of the Human Empire."

"So, the Humans learned to claim the Dark Forest as theirs?" Prince Ninth chuckled. "Shall I inform the Elves about this?"

Soren's face immediately turned ugly.
