"Elder sister…." Verina lowered her head as she greeted Eve, biting her lip, resembling a pitiful cat.

"This human is very ignorant," Prince Ninth frowned. "How could someone like her simply address the Princess of the Vampires as 'Elder sister'? What gave her the right to do so?" Almost immediately, a suffocating aura filled the cafe. "In my Kingdom, such an act warrants death. What is your opinion on this, your highness?"

Eve, just like the other humans in the cafe, paled. Without utilizing her magic, it would be challenging to resist the bloodlust of a high-ranking demon. Moreover, she decided not to use her magic to defend herself.

Fortunately, Max was quick to drape a coat around her, alleviating the pressure imposed by the demon prince.

Unlike Eve, Verina received no assistance and, in the end, succumbed to the overwhelming aura. Her body collapsed onto the hard wooden floor.
