Ophelia thus resumed her explanation, "The Covenant of the Blood, bearing an emblem of a single droplet of deep red blood set against a stark ivory canvas, are the custodians of profound knowledge concerning blood magic. These practitioners are the revered guardians of hallowed blood rites that have the power to both mend and maim, create bonds, and sever them. Their dealings with other covens and even werewolves, however, are often laden with mutual suspicion due to the latter's general wariness towards magic in any form."
