Isaac tilted his head.
"What?"
"T-This is a matter of national safety, Lord Isaac of Athenus. You have to help us infiltrate the ministry and stop these heathens and their evil plans."
Isaac was smart. As a wizard, keeping his calm in unexpected situations came as naturally as breathing to him. He processed their words in no time.
Assuming there were, in fact, hijackers instead of researchers in the carriage, it would be best to interrogate them, find out their identity before they could do anything, and get rid of them.
Nobody would object to him. His name just held that much weight.
A frontal assault was the most efficient.
On the other hand, infiltrating the building and catching them in the act seemed so inefficient he was almost appalled.
But this was the perfect chance for him to be inefficient, rather efficiently.
He pulled the collar of his turtleneck up and covered his mouth.
