To say I was smitten with my mate's appearance today would be an understatement. When I had chosen this dress for her, I had merely thought she would look beautiful. I had never thought she would look this stunning and eye-catching.

For once, I wasn't ashamed of saying I was smitten by a woman. I was so amazed by her beauty that I completely forgot how she tricked me into coming here alone.

I thought my proposal of coming here together sounded interesting and appealing. Is it that the maid who came to me was lying to me deliberately? Could it be Harry's prank? Why would she change her mind at the last second?

I will have to talk to her regarding this.

Standing near the staircase with the rest of the Lycans, I looked at my mate, who was descending the few steps like a true queen, and my heart fluttered a bit.

'She is indeed our queen, and I am not hearing anything against her this time,' Kyle said in a warning tone, and I scowled at his words.
