บท 211: Max's Task

The boss did not win with his current hand when playing cards so he turned his attention toward Max.

The room was very loud with the laughter and the talking of those in the room until he got up from his seat suddenly. "I will be stepping out for a moment."

He left the room followed by Max and a couple of his other subordinates who followed behind.

When he moved toward the door, he almost stumbled over and his overall stability was very low.

He had had too much to drink and one of his subordinates had to reach out to grab him before he fell in his drunken state.

He was then supported by one of his subordinates as he moved toward another room nearby that was far quieter.

After being lowered down into his seat, he leaned back in his seat and looked towards those who had gathered.

The overall atmosphere surrounding him had turned quite chilly all of a sudden.
