Nicolas was feeling much closer to his captors all of a sudden after being accepted for what he had become.

He was starting to understand more about his captors and was having more positive thoughts about them.

He agreed with more of what had been said and was feeling less anxious about his situation.

It took an extremely short amount of time and he was a captive in their hands yet he was already forming some kind of bond with his captors similar to most people experiencing Stockholm syndrome.

His future was determined by how his captors judged him so he was more eager to cooperate and stay on their good side.

Nicolas was not aware of the fact that he had been acting that way since he was too caught up with the feeling of acceptance that came from the words of the girl opposite him.

He waited for her to speak again showing that he was compliant with almost anything that would be asked of him.
