บท 100: Stampede

Elias trekked the forest for another hour, dispatching a few ‘weak’ beasts along the way. Regrettably, he had to use Aeter to reinforce himself, drawing from an almost empty pool of energy.

Aside from those troublesome ones however, the others seemed to steer clear once he growled and showed his bloodlust, a very clear sign of a challenge; one they backed away from once they had gauged the difference in strength.

Now, after a considerable time without any adversary to battle, Elias could finally feel his Aeter invigorate his body. Although, that Aeter did not want to remain stationary, it churned in his cells, as if excited to be expended again.

Forcing down that feeling, Elias thundered away, stealth had long left his steps and his bracelets of silver beads rustled on his limbs.
