The novel's protagonist as well as the former Divine Thief, Jo Do-Yoon. He had originally transmigrated from Earth and led a harsh life as an assassin of the Hao Sect. His countless meddling in it continued to fuel his thirst for power which eventually caused his doom by attempting to steal the Divine Pearl from the Murim Alliance.
Bratty (Current) - Spoilers: After dying in the hands of Gong Ma, the powers of the Divine Pearl forced his soul to be reborn in the body of the young Tang Soso. Even though his soul was that of a mature yet arrogant man, the brain of the body he resides in is still that of a child. Due to this, his personality was forcefully shifted to merge with the original Tang Soso, causing him to be quite bratty.
