บท 243: Hot Trouble

Louis and Alicia bolted to the hotel bathroom. There they found Henry, all dressed up, slumped against the wall, grimacing and clutching his belly which was bleeding. His dark shirt was drenched in blood and some had splashed onto the floor. His pants were also blotched with blood. It was obvious he'd been stabbed more than once.

A fancy hairpin with glass beads and pearls was lying on the ground, its point covered in blood.

Henry's helper was frantically dialing 911 on his phone, asking for help.

The bodyguard stood nearby, looking clueless. Louis, with a stern face, asked the bodyguard, "How did you let him get into this mess?"

The bodyguard looked worried, "Mr. Martinez told us to leave. He wanted to chat privately with a lady. We didn't see this coming."
