Louis bit his lip a little. When he calmed down, he trusted Alicia, but he didn't trust Chuck. Being a guy, he knew how guys think. If a guy likes a girl and she's right in front of him, especially if she's not really all there, any guy might try to make a move.
Louis rubbed his forehead and cracked a smile. "Let's forget about this, okay?" he suggested, "Let's both move on."
"What about your dad…"
"I showed him the photos, faced him head on. He'll back off."
But, Alicia wasn't sure Henry would back down so easily. It wasn't just about her anymore; it had turned into a showdown between the old and the new, the rich and the poor.
Considering Henry's stubbornness and how much he cares about his image, getting him to change his old habits seemed as hard as touching the sky.
Still, Alicia didn't say anything. Talking about it would only bring more problems.
