Alicia had never heard Louis talk like this before, and it was a refreshing change. She found his slightly upset look kind of cute, a sharp contrast to his usual cool and confident attitude. This unexpected side of him only made her like him more.

She reached up to put her arms around his neck, noticing the red veins in his eyes. She gently touched the corner of his eye with her fingertip and said, "Your eyes are bloodshot. You have to leave tomorrow, remember?"

Louis nuzzled his nose against hers but didn't respond. He didn't want to stay any longer either. However, he was so worried when thinking Chuck was watching over the place and wouldn't leave, keeping a close eye on her.

The night before, Chuck had rescued Alicia, and tonight he sang to get her attention, making Louis feel uneasy.
