Alicia noticed the sad look on the old man's face, his eyes staring off into the distance, and gently asked, "Sir, who do you think I look like?"
The old man seemed to snap out of his daydream, hesitated for a moment, and shook his head just a little. Seeing that he didn't want to answer, Alicia didn't push further, thinking to herself, "I do look like Madelyn. So it's not that surprising if I remind him of someone he knows."
Cameron, who had just said hi to Alicia, walked over after seeing the situation. He introduced her, saying, "Alicia, this is Marlon Jackson, the top expert in ancient pottery and porcelain restoration."
Alicia had heard of Marlon Jackson's fame. In the world of artifact restoration, he was as well-known as her grandfather. She greeted him respectfully, "Mr. Jackson, it's an honor to meet you."
"Hello," Marlon nodded, the corners of his eyes still a bit red.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
