บท 93: Prepared for You

Nate noticed Maya tensing up once more, he could have easily asked her what was wrong, but he didn't want to push. 

He already knew that she was sensitive after what had happened today. He didn't want her to shut down and ignore him. The fact that she was here already made him worry. 

"I thought it was the CEO of DLR Enterprises that lived here," Maya said as she continued to look around, marveling in awe at how he had translated their old space into a larger, much grander home. 

"Everyone makes that assumption," Nathaniel said with a shrug.

Of course, they were right, Maya just didn't know that Nathaniel and Alistair were the same person. That this entire time the man she was dating was actually the CEO of the largest and richest company in the country. 

"Does he come here often?" Maya asked, probably trying to figure out why everyone thought her boyfriend's residence was the CEO's.
