บท 2: My golden finger is here!
"Jun, today is the big day! Have you decided which Pokemon starter you want?" Aunt Mia asked, excitement evident in her voice.
Aunt Mia is the younger sister of Jun's father. After graduating, she devoted all her time and energy to training and developing her skills as a trainer. However, an unexpected incident occurred that forced her to abandon her dream and pursue a different path.
Despite the setback, Aunt Mia refused to let go of her love for Pokemon. She channeled her passion into teaching and became a beloved and respected teacher at Scarlett Pokemon academy.
"I'm not sure yet, Aunt Mia," Jun replied, trying to pretend shy and introvert
"Jun, I trust that you'll make the right choice, but please remember to be careful. Don't talk to strangers and make sure you're not alone when you're out there," Aunt Mia advised with a concerned look on her face.
"Thanks, Aunt Mia. I'll make sure to stay safe," Jun said
After Aunt Mia left to help another kid, Jun looked around and shook his head in amazement. The massive auditorium was enormous, with a high ceiling that could support flying Pokemon. In the center of the auditorium was a large, artificial lake that seemed to be designed for water-type Pokemon to swim in.
Many students were gathered around different areas, each with their own set of starter Pokemon to choose from. He could see a group of students near the fire-type area, where a Charmander and a Torchic were playing. Meanwhile, in the water-type area, there were Squirtle and Mudkip swimming around.
As Jun approached the grassland area, he noticed a group of kids playing with a Bulbasaur and a Chikorita. They seemed to be having fun, running around and playing tag.
Jun watched as the children around him cheered and giggled while they watched a group of Pokemon playing with a middle-aged man.
'I wonder if that man works at a different Pokemon daycare,' he thought to himself. It seems like a clever marketing strategy to use cute Pokemon to draw in kids and get them interested in their own starter Pokemon.
This world is different from many of the novels he had read in his previous life, where the vast majority of families basically could not afford the fees to buy a starter pokemon. Here, many daycares and pokemon alliances offer loans to middle and low-class families. Even if the loan is not enough for them to buy a top-tier pokemon starter like Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur, at least they can give their kids relatively good pokemon instead of relying on catching a wild one.
Soon, Jun arrived at a relatively large tree and sat on it. While kid happily playing and choose their Pokemon, Jun still immersed himself by the fact that he had reincarnated.
"Kyuuu"
Jun was startled and look around him, there's nothing. He then followed the source of the sound until finally he found it. It was an Eevee! It's a brown pokemon with soft and fluffy cream fur around it's neck. It's very cute!

"Hmm..Open!"
He directly communicated with the system, but what happened? Is the system broken? Jun was sweating; it's impossible, right? If he's right, it's every reincarnator's perk to get a normal system. But he can't communicate with his system now.
Just as his sight passed by Eevee, his system finally showed something.

He looked back, and it was the same Eevee that he saw before. It bit his trouser like it wanted to drag him.
"Do you want me to follow you?" Jun slowly asked.
"Kyuu" The Eevee nodded and ran away.
Jun quickly followed that Eevee, and soon they arrived at a medium size cave and entered it. When Jun followed, he was surprised to see another Eevees. Soon, they arrived, and the Eevee stopped and looked at it. It was also an Eevee, but this Eevee looked pale. It looked like it was sick. Jun squatted and looked at it.
