ตอน 32: Chapter 32
Walking through town with Nyx, Akira had a silly smile on his face.
Nyx who was next to him had her head down, you could see a trace of redness on her face, plus there were some marks on her neck.
'That pervert, I told him not to do that, and yet he kissed me...'
Even though she is complaining in her mind about Akira's actions, her heart still races as she remembers the previous scenes.
"Wait here, I'll be right back."
Nyx who was lost in thought lifted her head to find Akira running towards a food stall.
She was curious to know what he was doing, after all beings of the supernatural like them rarely need to eat.
Just then, Akira returned with two pieces of cake in his hand, arriving at Nyx's side, he reached out one hand offering Nyx one of the slices.
"Unfortunately the vendor didn't have any taiyaki, otherwise we could try the same food from years ago." Akira said with a bit of regret, but soon after gave a smile, "Anyway, this chocolate cake is one of the best in town, I think you'll like it."
Seeing that Nyx appeared to be dazed, he placed one of the pieces in her white hands as he dragged her to a nearby bench so they could eat without worry.
Nyx snapped out of her daze the moment she sat down on the bench to eat the cake. Turning her gaze to Akira, she saw him eating the cake without worry, moreover by the expression he was making the cake looked delicious.
Feeling Nyx's gaze. Akira turned to her and said, "Aren't you going to eat your cake?"
It was possible to see from his expression that if she didn't eat the cake he would probably do it instead.
"I- I will eat it!"
Nyx exclaimed as she pushed her slice of cake away from Akira.
Afraid that Akira would take the piece of cake from her hand, she shoved it whole in her mouth making her look like a squirrel with nuts in her mouth.
'So... cute!'
Akira looking at Nyx's puffy cheeks wanted to tease her but he knew that if he did that he would probably be sent flying.
Seeming to sense Akira's thoughts, she looked at him with anger in her eyes as she swallowed the cake that was in her mouth.
"Delicious."
She murmured softly.
This cake given to her by Akira was almost as good as the taiyaki from years ago.
"You have a little chocolate on your face." Akira said as he pointed to the left corner of Nyx's lip.
"Hm?"
Nyx rubbed her hand where Akira had pointed, but every time she did that Akira shook his head as if the chocolate stain wouldn't come out.
"Let me clean it for you."
Akira reached out, and ran his finger lightly over Nyx's lip, and before she could react, he pulled her into a hug while sealing her lips with his own.
"That cake is really delicious." Akira commented softly as he pulled his lips away from Nyx's.
"You! I told you-"
Before she could finish her speech, Nyx again found herself being kissed by Akira.
She was flushed to the ears and her heart seemed to want to jump out of her chest, but she couldn't push Akira away, it was as if she lost all her strength when she was with him.
"You are so beautiful." He whispered in her ears making her shiver.
But this time he didn't kiss her again and just held her hand gently.
A trace of longing flashed through Nyx's mind, but she said nothing and just snuggled her head into Akira's chest.
"That could last forever." Akira commented as he watched the people walking by.
Nyx who was leaning on his chest, nodded slightly.

The neighborhood they were in wasn't very big, so soon their tour was over.
Back at Akira's house, Nyx was a bit curious, "Why do you still live in the human world when you are a devil? If you want, I can arrange a mansion for you to live in the underworld or even near my pantheon."
Akira took some time to think about his answer, he knew he couldn't tell her that he was living in the human world because this was the safest place, could he?
"I like this place, it reminds me of my childhood. Besides, it was in that park that we met."
He pointed to a park that was close to his house.
Nyx looked in surprise at the park Akira pointed to, never expecting that one of the reasons he still lived here was because it was the place where they met.
"You really know how to talk sweet."
Even as she said that, her heart was pulsing with happiness knowing that she had not chosen wrong the man she would like to spend the rest of her life with.
Looking at Nyx who looked happy, an amusing idea flashed through Akira's mind.
"Honey~ the weather is cold, so what do you say we go inside and get warm? My bed is very big and comfortable."
The moment he finished his speech, Akira felt the world spin and the next thing he knew he was already on the floor.
"Pervert!"
After shouting those words, she walked into the house with her hands behind her back.
Her steps were light, the hem of her skirt fluttered and under her dress there was a beautiful and bright aura.
Akira who was a little dizzy, soon regained clarity as he saw Nyx's beauty exuding.
'That Goddess of the Night is so.... Cute!'

In the living room.
Nyx sat down in the armchair.
Looking at Akira who was standing in front of her, her eyes were scanning him.
Today had been an amazing day, and she would probably never forget this day, but she also knew that there were other important things to take care of.
Sensing the more serious atmosphere, the smile on Akira's face disappeared, and he too sat back, waiting for Nyx to say what he wanted.

A trace of surprise flashed through Akira's eyes as he looked at the floating chess piece.
