She was not the only to be ambushed by this news, Muyang was just the same as her. 

"Was this part of your plan?" he asked her. 

"No." she replied immediately as she grabbed her phone from the table to make a call. 

Anybody that was rescued had either escaped or they were survivors from another vessel which had been affected by the strong winds of the previous night. 

"The dresses they have on are awfully similar to some of those of the women in the pictures from the previous night. Are you sure that they are not your people?" he asked, again.

The women had been hurriedly covered with light yellow blankets over their heads by rescue services and they were carried into ambulances immediately. Their faces could not be seen but their bodies were partially visible. 

They were drenched, this was obvious from the way their dresses clung to their bodies. It could be questioned that they had been in water, for how long however was not known.
