บท 623: Mei-Mei is sick.

Muyang claimed to have no idea as to why minister Su wanted to see his wife. By the time the couple came downstairs however, the rest of the family had returned from the wedding but the minister was gone and so was the thief that had been kept in the bunker. 

The couple however was too occupied with their crying daughter to care about the sudden leave of the minister without talking to Chi Lian. 

No matter how much they comforted the little girl, she just cried and cried, resulting in her face turning red like a tomato. 

"Mother, what happened?" Chi Lian asked her mother. 

All sets of parents and grandparents had come to the house because Mei-Mei's crying is what caused them to abandon the wedding hall. Everyone was hovering albeit from a distance as they tried not to overwhelm the little girl.
