Devon, Cole and I once again found ourselves in that same bar where I had met Night that first time, sneaking off to the men’s room to fuck some random guy.

Even the memories of that first night made goosebumps rise on my skin.

Picking up the glass of whiskey from the table, I downed the entire glass in one go, trying to push back those memories to the back of my mind.

“Easy there.” Devon gave me a look over the rim of his own glass. “I’m not carrying you back home if you get drunk tonight.”

“I’m not drunk.” I protested, cursing myself internally when I heard my voice slur a bit.

“Sure you aren’t.” Cole gave me a sarcastic look before rolling his eyes and focusing on Devon. “Remind me again, why did Josh bail on us this time?”
