บท 187: She Was Twisted Too

"Good morning," 

"Morning." 

That was the only conversation Islinda had with Aldric as she settled down for breakfast. Not that there was much to say with the dark prince going through a parchment in his hand and sipping his wine with the other.

If there was anything Islinda learned about Aldric, it was that he was an alcoholic, not that he showed any signs of being intoxicated. To Aldric, he might as well be gulping down water thanks to his amazing Fae gene, she was so not jealous! 

Aside from that, there was a subtle tension in the air and it was as a result of the eye-opening conversation she had with him last night. The dark prince does not care about her, consumed instead with the desire to sit on the throne of Astaria. To him, she was merely a ticket to secure the title he claimed was stolen from him. So she would stay out of his way and quietly plot a way to get out of here - out of his control.
