บท 109: Temptation

"It's nice to see you back in good shape, my lady," Aurelia said and something along the lines of her words hinted she wasn't supposed to be alive. 

Islinda stopped in her tracks and stared at the Fae with suspicion for a second. Had she known what Aldric was up to and kept mutt? 

Aurelia stopped walking when she realized the human wasn't following anymore and turned to her, concerned,

"Is everything alright, my lady?" 

Of course, the fae was loyal to Aldric and would never reveal her master's plans. How could she have assumed Aurelia would be on her side and spill Aldric's secrets? 

Even she couldn't expose Aldric's manipulations at the palace because he was good at countering everything and would always find a way out of a difficult situation. 

At once, Islinda schooled her expression, not giving out any feelings as she answered, "Of course, I'm fine."
