บท 159: MOVE ON

The carriage approached the infirmary and Magdalene couldn't just wait to leave. She got inside the place and saw Phillip who had greeted her a good morning with a cheerful smile while she offered a very fake half smile.

"You don't look very well are you okay?" Phillip asked seeing her swollen eyes and small stains if tears.

I'm fine" Magdalene lied her voice coming out hoarse

"Dear child!" Apollo said excitedly as he came out after hearing her voice.

"Apollo!" Magdalene said and hugged him fondly.

"Are you okay" He asked in concern as he raised his hands to feel her skin which was surprisingly hot and red. He looked at her eyes and face which signified that she had been crying all along.

"Magdalene dear" He called in concern making her break into tears and hugged him again. Apollo let her sob into his arms and patted her back lovingly like a doting father. His heart ached to see the poor girl like that.
