บท 308: I Can't Breathe

Oriana's eyes puzzled, tried to see him in the darkness to know what more he expected from her. She could not deny this closeness with him was affecting her greatly and that is why she ran away after that dance with him.

Just when she thought she had gotten over it and was calm, once more this man was in front of her to affect her again. So close and in the darkness at that. She feared if she let herself get carried away with him, she would end up exposing herself to him. 

"I-I don't know what His Highness wants."

"Then I will trouble myself to get what I want," she heard Arlan and found his hand moving back to her face after letting go of her hand.

Even before she could stop him, the veil from her face was gone. 

"Your Highness!" she exclaimed but Arlan once again put his finger on her lips to silence her and whispered, "Those guards are still around."
