A new strategy Ace wanted to learn was getting rid of his over-dependency on his blood mutant form. Even though it was impressive and powerful, Ace wanted to focus on using his blood skills on his human body instead. That way, he would not need to act like the savage brute the Granians expected him to be.

The young man's body reverted to normal while keeping a good-sized puddle of blood over his head. With his hand stretched out, Ace coated his arms and legs with blood and hardened them while running for a beast which charged at him.
