Unlike the first time, Skyler did not feel any changes in her body. The first time, her chest hurt severely, followed by her showing signs of increased violence and feral behavior. Expecting to feel it again, Sky grew rather disappointed and felt disappointed.

'What happened this time? Why is it not working?' She asked herself. 'Is it because I ingested purely fresh blood last time?'

"ACE!!" Sky screamed at Ace, who was killing the last of the panther-like beasts. "SPILL THAT BLOOD ALL OVER ME, QUICKLY." Confused at first, Ace reluctantly did as the girl asked and quickly shot a thick sludge of blood onto her upper body.
