บท 406: Ice and fire

Cael let out a breath that was more shaky than he'd like. The Curse of Death wouldn't have been a spell hard to use, if not for the blood clone Cael had active.

Despite the name of the curse, it didn't actually kill Calvo. The man only fainted, and was already groaning on the ground, trying to back up. His shield dissipated, and now the blizzard was rapidly trying to bury him in the snow.

Cael suppressed a shiver from the sight. He was still protected by a personal shield, which also allowed him to fly despite the weather.

Astnar glanced at Cael. With a grunt that could mean a million of things, the jotun broke into a run again, following Dieter.

Cael grit his teeth. That close to the target, the jotun appeared to become absolutely unreasonable. Which forced Cael to be even more unreasonable.

No way he could let Ronzio anywhere near the Ice Flower!
