Cael was draining blood off the yellow dragon, whose chest was almost split int two halves by Cael's spell. The second dragon, the red one, was crawling near the yellow one on the ground, half-dead, with smoke going out of his mouth—but no fire.
It was at this moment that it happened. The quiet link that came from the wedding band on his finger suddenly alerted him to Ginevra's pain. She was hurt—more and more with each passing instant.
A second later, the connection was cut off completely. Before Cael could process what was going on, the time for asking questions ended already.
Ginevra's wedding band broke. What was with Ginevra herself? How did that happen?
Cael's heart froze in his chest, suspended in the state of pure uncertainty. Like a coin that was thrown in the air, it could land on any side—but it wouldn't land until Cael saw Ginevra's body.
Alive, or… dead.
He needed to see her. Now!
numbers of the starspawn names don't represent anything~ they just sound nice
they aren't a sign of power or position
starspawn's idea of naming stops on making names unique and easy to remember. this naming convention allows a lot of unique combination of adjectives&numbers which are much easier to comprehend than simply random combinations of letters, while being distinct as names~
