บท 296: Four elements, part 1

Ginevra hated to stay behind and wait, even when she knew it was necessary. But just twenty minutes after Cael left, someone knocked on the door hammer of the embassy.

"Who could that be? There's a sign saying that the place is closed for visitors!" the chief ambassador said, frowning. "These auras… Ejderha officials?"

Ginevra sensed them, too. Four ejderha ones, with no one else near. And according to what Dante said earlier, ejderha might've looked like humans, but they really were dragons in their souls.

"I will answer the door," Ginevra said, going through the main hall. "Everybody else should leave. Now!"

The few people who were still waiting in this hall, after hearing Ginevra's command, scrambled away in fear. Tarek hesitated, but after Ginevra held her gaze on him for a moment longer, nodded and left, too.

Mimi, who was waiting there just to keep Ginevra company, frowned, but jutted her chin stubbornly and stayed.
