Holding a vial of blood in his hand, Cael stared at the mage lying on a pile of rubble near his feet.

Dante was a fearsome opponent with some really dangerous abilities. Even a short exposure to his petrification gas affected Cael, although in several more minutes he would return to the norm.

Thankfully, now the gas wasn't a problem anymore. All thanks to Ginevra.

Cael threw a glance at his wife and beamed. 'How good that I decided, in the end, to ask for her help. Otherwise, I would've been a statue by now!'

When he flew towards Dante, Cael hesitated whether he should ask for Ginevra's help. Even if she was powerful, she could be harmed in an unknown trap; or her presence might alert Dante and make him harm Mimi.
