The Curse of Endless Pursuit was a simple spell after dealing with Vitality Transfer. All Cael had to do was to draw a ritual circle—in blood, of course, which in this case was his own—add a few glyphs, put the vial with Ginevra's drop in the middle, and read the spell itself.
Cael felt it latching on her through her blood, that almost invisible thread, immediately. Ginevra would never notice it, but to Cael it shone like a guiding star.
He mounted his horse and moved out, first through the narrow city streets, empty at this time, then through the gates and outside. On the horizon, the sun threw the first brushes of amber on the purple canvas of the sky.
Ginevra has some time ahead, with the time Cael spent putting on clothes, gathering his things and trying to get out of the dead ends of the streets. But she won't escape.
This plot line moves towards its culmination. You know what *that* means *wink-wink*
