Life was getting better. After a week of hard work, the level of the underworld where Lex and I live was better than it had ever been. The demons, who never used to have a home to call their own, were building homes in a new residential neighborhood. Most of them didn't think they needed much space at all, so they were content with town homes, apartments, and places where several of them could share one space.

Some of the clans of demons I'd met since coming here, the ones who stuck together like they were family, had opted to create complexes for them all to reside in. They were getting started on crafting the buildings the way they wanted to. Though none of them would let me help them with creating anything.
