There were precious few warriors at our disposal. If we were to go to war with Erebos and the others, we would be at a disadvantage when it came to numbers. Though, we would never truly be at a disadvantage. 

I knew that Talia wouldn't like me thinking like this, but with her and me on this side of the battle, and Rudy as well for that matter, it would be difficult for anyone here in the underworld who could stand against us. Talia alone could probably take on the entirety of the enemy army and come out on top. Though I would never tell her that. 

If she thought she could do that, she would. Knowing my mate as well as I do, I knew she would want to protect everyone. It's the way she was. Just like her mother. She never wanted anyone to be in pain or suffer if they didn't have to.
