บท 194: Chapter 44- Rika – An Earthquake (VOLUME 2)

I was spending the weekend getting caught up on some of the political aspects of my life. And what that meant was, I was asked by my mom to help her out in the office. I knew that she wanted me to stay on top of things in the community and kingdom, but that wasn't her real purpose for asking me here today. 

No, what she was really after was just my time. She was my mom, I was her first daughter, and she wanted to make sure that she didn't lose me. I was mated now, living out in the world with him, away from the castle and the compound. She missed me, but she wasn't going to tell me that before I arrived to help her.

That's right. She would wait to tell me that until I was there, in her arms for the hug. Because that was exactly what she had done. Just as mom pulled me in to squeeze me tightly, I heard her voice in my left ear.

"Rika! Sweetheart! I missed you! I love you so much, you have no idea!"
