Later that night, I got a call back from Reggie. She told me that Darrol was all for helping us. He also liked that whole 'secret agent' vibe that he had gotten when he was helping my parents before.

Neither Reggie nor Darrol ever saw the battlefield, but they had been instrumental in figuring out some of what had been going on. Without their help, my parents would have had a hard time figuring out who the Jaegan were. Also, they had been there to help us track and locate some of the extremist groups that were all over the country.

There had been a lot that had happened last year. And those two FBI agents had been a part of it all. That was how I knew that I could trust them. They had been there when Reagan and I were training, so I knew they were dependable.
