"A good bath is bound to make you feel better, " I tried to convince my friend to get out of bed. He is wounded and he isn't the only one. 

Yesterday I was reminded of the line that is drawn between me and Laith. He is the hero of the story while I am the villain, the two of us are meant to cross parts between not meant to be together. 

I understand now that someday in the near future, we will have to face him in battle. It's scared me to think of what the outcome would be if the two of us were to fight each other. 

Laith is more powerful than I anticipated. His tainted soul did not stop him from accessing his light and using it as a weapon against Xerek. The war has already begun. Laith won the first battle by putting Xerek and Ywain down in one day.
