The next thing they heard though, was the scream of a beast, a strong one, as even the surrounding sand fell off from the bigger dunes.

Clearly, whatever came their way was much stronger than the invisible monster.

"Stay behind me." Said Lux, preparing for another face-off, this time without tricks, he hoped.

"No." Khione shook her head before saying. "This time I want to participate too, I can't really continue to be behind you forever."

Her skin gave off a cold vibe, before some scales slowly took over her body, and she started growing in size.

Before Lux knew it, a behemoth that was over fifty meters tall and one hundred meters long was already beside him.
